Street Art hits Rotterdam!
MeLikePainting presents "Eat Street Breathe Art" at the 3 day Art & Living Fair in Ahoy Rotterdam. A live paint happened where 12 Dutch cream of the crop Street & Lowbrow artists went into a 24 hours lock down. An all white furbished room was the canvas on which a painting on the back wall was brought to life. As they color the room the painting will turn to white. They wanted to show the effect art has on its surroundings by painting its context and the impact it has on it's surrounding.

THE POWER OF ART
"Within our lifetimes, we've marveled as biologists have managed to look at ever smaller and smaller things. And astronomers have looked further and further into the dark night sky, back in time and out in space. But maybe the most mysterious of all is neither the small nor the large: it's us, up close. Could we even recognize ourselves, and if we did, would we know ourselves? What would we say to ourselves? What would we learn from ourselves? What would we really like to see if we could stand outside ourselves and look at us?"
