Terry Riley is a one man band.His music is a defining psychedelic work, it takes you to far worlds creating a feeling of unrestrained joy, a kind of trance that almost feels like soul is taken apart from body into a whole new dimension with its persistent beats and pulses creating a path to euphoria.-liz
Riley is one of the granddaddies of Minimalism. His early music, In C and the two works on this disc, brought to light the musical possibilities of rapid-fire notation and shifting sonic textures to a new form of music. Riley has done this primarily through electronic keyboards and computer technology. The composer plays all the instruments on this extraordinary disc: electric organ, electric harpsichord, "rocksichord," dumbec, tambourine, and soprano saxophone. The music is spooky and hypnotic and is an early masterpiece in the genre. It belongs in the collections of anyone interested in late 20th century American music. --Paul Cook
It has been said by many reviewers that this record(A Rainbow in Curved Air) basically started the trance/new wave/techno scene.
It can be seen like a classical sonata or concerto.

How peculiarly strange,BUT cute that would be!
Got the chance to get close enough to this butterfly to take a pic of it.Never really thought much about butterflies until my sis and I were observing this one for 15 minutes.Came to a conclusion that butterflies are pretty free!This one seemed like it was taking care of its territory though,it would chase birds and dragonflies away from where it would roam lol anyways nature is beautiful.
