Summer Solstice 2011 England Style!

In England they celebrate the summer solstice by going to the ancient Stonehenge located on Salisbury plain in southern England,it is said it was erected as early as 3000 B.C. but they are not certain, and yet despite years of research the reason behind its construction remains a mystery.Druids; a pagan religious order dating back to Celtic Britain, whose believes have been passed on for more than 2,000 years now.The Stonehenge is believed to be a center of spiritualism.As the longest day of the year in the northern hemisphere, when the sun is at its maximum point;revelers,druids,and tourists join together in a gathering at the ancient stone circle of Stonehenge to celebrate and have a spiritual ceremony of peace and positive prayers raising their faces skyward and arms to the sun.As the night sets it brings a serenity and a sense of unity.
